Hi Doctor. Is expansion possible in adult over 50? At age 43, I had Adult Invisalign with IPR to close gaps. However the Invisalign shrank my arches, retruded my maxilla and particularly retruded my mandible. This caused posture, airway, and musculoskeletal damage. I have reversed the Invisalign for almost the last 2 years bringing immense improvement. However my arches, maxilla, and mandible (and posture) have not fully returned to their natural positions yet.

I got tmj arthrocentesis done as i got my jaw locked couldn’t open it more than one finger after the treatment i can open upto 3 and i was given a splint to wear in lower jaw idk which type is it they just took impression on wax and looks like just a copy of my lower teeth set, my question here is can i wear it for lifetime or not ??

I have painless tmj on my right side of the jaw ( heavy clicking and no pain) I also cannot move my lower jaw towards right side Is there any treatment?

Same problem but my age is 33 now And herbst appliances or head gear which is good to me . I mean i don't want to show my teeth in front of others and head gear is possible for me i will use it afternoon hours and all night plz reply i am sorry if am wrong i so tired with treatment at that time less technology.i had braces treatment in my past at age of 14.still problem is not clear

🙏Heyy doctor my theeth were really crooked and 2 front theeth were forwardly placed i took braces treatment for almost 1.5 years ....and now my braces are taken off .💔😭😭Im not satisfied with my treatment because now i have excessive overjet and my dentist is saying that we need to do extractions for fixing that overjet but she also told me that extraction have lots of disadvantaged so 😮‍💨my dentist is not preferring any further tretment to my overjet .....😭😭😭😭i need urget help doctor please tell me any alernate option then of extraction i can even contact you for appointment... *I have a overjet* *my theeth are severely crowded too but they are not crooked i want to fix my overjet without extractions please help me out of this trouble* ....* i am 15yo * Please relpy me you are last hope for me🤍🙏

Sir my mother has tmj issue. I saw her a doctor. The doctor said to remove 4 wisdoms teeth then if the pain stays then she needs to wear a occlusal splint ? And we removed two wisdoms teeth from the upper position of left and right side but the pain still giving. What should i do now??

Hello I went to a dental clinic near me it's 32 smile and she told me that without extracting my tooth she can reshape my teeth añd it's will not effect my face.. I don't know she is telling me good or bad 😞
